Laboratory Testing for Food, Water, Effluent, Hygiene & Product Quality

Quality Plus helps clients move from sample submission to the right testing scope, reliable laboratory analysis, and clear, actionable reporting. Whether you need testing for routine monitoring, product release, customer specifications, regulatory compliance, process control, environmental monitoring, or an investigation, our technical team can help you identify the appropriate testing scope based on your sample, testing objective and application requirements.

From Sample Type to the Right Testing Pathway

Quality Plus tests a wide range of samples including food, beverages, drinking water, bottled water, wastewater, effluent, environmental swabs, ingredients, sterility samples, food handler samples, and disinfectant efficacy samples.

To guide testing properly, we encourage clients to share what they have, why they are testing, and what kind of report or decision the result needs to support.

This allows the technical team to confirm whether the sample requires microbiology testing, chemistry testing, contaminant analysis, water quality indicators, quality checks, or a combined testing scope.

Common Samples we support

Food and Beverages

Testing support for food products, beverages, ingredients, processed foods, ready-to-eat items, packaged products, and shelf-stable products.

Drinking and Bottled Water

Testing support for drinking water, bottled water, water used in processing, and water requiring potability or quality assessment.

Wastewater and Effluent

Testing support for wastewater, effluent, environmental monitoring, operational checks, and compliance-related assessment.

Hospitality and Food Service

Testing support for hotels, restaurants, kitchens, food handlers, surfaces, hygiene checks, and environmental monitoring.

Dairy and Processed Foods

Testing support for dairy products, processed foods, ingredients, production monitoring, spoilage concerns, hygiene checks, and product quality verification.

Packaged and Shelf-Stable Foods

Testing support for packaged foods, shelf-life considerations, spoilage organisms, quality indicators, and product release decisions.

The Reason for Testing Determines the Path

Testing needs are often shaped by the reason behind the sample. A product release test may require a different scope from a failed-result investigation, water quality check, customer requirement, hygiene verification, or stability study.

Common testing reasons include:

If the main concern is organisms, hygiene risk, spoilage, environmental contamination, or pathogen control, the microbiology testing guide may be the best starting point. If the main concern is residues, contaminants, water chemistry, composition, physical indicators, or quality parameters, the chemistry and contaminant guide may be more suitable.

Major Testing Areas

Pathogen Testing

Testing support for high-risk organisms that may affect product safety, food safety decisions, customer requirements, or regulatory expectations.

Indicator and Spoilage Organism

Testing support for hygiene indicators, spoilage organisms, shelf-life concerns, process control, and quality monitoring.

Environmental Monitoring

Testing support for surfaces, swabs, production areas, hygiene verification, and environmental contamination control.

Chemistry and Quality Indicators

Testing support for water chemistry, product composition, moisture, ash, quality indicators, and other chemistry-related assessments.

Contaminant Screening

Testing support for contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticide residues, mycotoxins, and other risk-based analytical needs where applicable.

How the process works

1.

Submit the Sample

Bring or send the sample with clear identification, sample description, requested test if known, testing objective, urgency, and reporting requirements.

2.

Analysis Begins

The laboratory receives the sample, confirms the testing scope, and begins analysis based on the agreed requirements.

3.

Receive the Report

Once analysis and review are complete, the client receives a formal report or Certificate of Analysis based on the agreed scope.

Not Sure Which Test You Need?

Share your sample description, testing reason, reporting requirement, and timeline. Our team will help match your sample to the most suitable testing pathway.
